How to cancel Antique Snap

To cancel Antique Snap, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, pick Antique Snap and tap Cancel Subscription. That is the whole process. It works the same way for every app you have ever subscribed to through the App Store, because Apple handles the billing, not the developer. Below are the steps in a little more detail, what happens after you cancel, how to get a refund for a charge you did not want, and how to check whether the charge you are looking at is even ours.

Cancel on an iPhone or iPad

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your name at the very top of the screen.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Antique Snap. If it is not in the list, read the section on missing subscriptions below.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Apple then shows you the date your access ends. There is nothing else to do and no one to email. If you prefer, the same list is inside the App Store app: tap your photo in the top right corner, then Subscriptions. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Account Settings, then Manage next to Subscriptions.

Do this at least 24 hours before your renewal date. That cutoff is Apple's, and it applies to every app.

What happens after you cancel

• No further charges. The subscription simply does not renew.
• You keep access until the paid period ends. If you cancel a yearly plan in month two, the app keeps working for the remaining ten months.
• Nothing is deleted. Your saved items stay where they are. If you also want your data gone, that is a separate option in the app's Settings, and our privacy policy explains what is stored in the first place.
• Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the mistake that costs people money. Apple keeps billing a deleted app until the subscription is cancelled in Settings. Cancel first, then delete if you want to.

I cancelled but was still charged

Two things cause almost every case of this. The first is timing: if you cancelled less than 24 hours before the renewal, Apple had already queued the charge. The second is that the subscription lives under a different Apple ID than the one you checked, for example a family member's account or an older one of yours. Open Subscriptions under each Apple ID you use before assuming the cancellation failed. Either way, the fix is the same: cancel it where it actually lives, then ask Apple for a refund of the charge you did not want.

Getting a refund

We cannot issue refunds. Apple processes them for every app on the App Store, and the request takes about a minute:

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
2. Find the Antique Snap charge in the list.
3. Choose Request a refund, pick a reason, and submit.

Apple usually answers within a day or two. If it is a renewal you did not want, cancel the subscription first so it does not happen again, then send the request. Apple decides refunds on its own rules, so we cannot promise an outcome, but a first unwanted renewal is normally approved.

Is this charge even from Antique Snap?

On a bank or card statement, App Store charges show up as APPLE.COM/BILL with no app name, which is why people end up on pages like this one guessing. To see which app a charge belongs to, open Settings, tap your name, tap Media & Purchases, then View Account, then Purchase History. Every line there names the app.

Antique Snap has one subscription and nothing else to buy, so Purchase History is the place to check, not the amount on the statement. If the line does not say Antique Snap, it is a different app. The pricing page explains what is free, what the subscription covers and how billing works.
